Cut Your Own Lavender
Everything you need to know before your cutting day.
How It Works
Choose your date and time slot online, or buy your ticket at the farm on the day you visit. The $20 Cut Your Own Lavender ticket entitles you to cut one bundle of lavender weighing 8 oz. A $5 general admission ticket is available if you'd rather just walk the field and visit the animals during the time slot. See Admission for details.
Please arrive during your time slot, and have your tickets pulled up on your phone or printed out to show the parking staff when you arrive. This is a rain or shine event.
If you have purchased a cutting ticket, bring your own scissors and baskets!
There will be a lavender talk at the gazebo at quarter past the hour — how the field grows, our 14 varieties, and how to cut so the plants stay healthy.
Stroll through our 4,000 lavender plants and cut your own bundle. Peak bloom is late June through early August; our 14 lavender varieties don't all bloom at the same time, and a lighter second bloom persists until October. If the lavender is unavailable for any reason, your ticket entitles you to one standard pre-cut bundle of lavender.
